Submission Guidelines for Mega Journal of Surgery
To ensure that your submission to Mega Journal of Surgery is processed smoothly and in compliance with the journal’s standards, please follow the guidelines outlined below:
Manuscript Structure
Cover Letter:
- A brief cover letter explaining the significance of your research, why it is suitable for publication in Mega Journal of Surgery, and any potential conflicts of interest.
Title Page:
- Include the full title of the article, complete names of all authors, affiliations, and the corresponding author’s contact details (email, phone, and address).
Abstract:
- Provide an abstract of 150-250 words summarizing the key points of the study, including objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.
- Note: Tables, figures, and reference numbers are not indexed in the abstract.
Keywords:
- A list of 3-5 keywords relevant to your manuscript.
Introduction:
- A concise introduction outlining the background, the problem being addressed, and the objectives of the research.
Materials and Methods:
- Detailed description of the methods and procedures used to carry out the research. Include ethical considerations and approvals, if applicable.
Results:
- Present the results in a clear, systematic manner. You may use tables, figures, and graphs to illustrate the data.
Discussion:
- Discuss the implications of the results, comparing them to previous research. Highlight the novel aspects of the study and its potential impact on clinical practice.
Conclusion:
- Summarize the main findings and suggest future directions for research or clinical applications.
Acknowledgements and Funding:
- Acknowledge any contributors who did not meet the criteria for authorship and list any funding sources.
Figures, Tables, and Graphs:
- Figures: Only in JPEG, JPG, or PNG formats.
- Tables: Must be submitted in text format, not as images.
References:
- Ensure all references are cited correctly in the manuscript according to the journal’s preferred citation style.

Research (Original) Articles:
- Word limit: 2500-3500 words (No limit on figures, tables, and references)
Review Articles:
- Word limit: 3000-4000 words (No limit on figures, tables, and references)
Case Reports/Series/Blogs/Videos:
- Word limit: 1000-2500 words (No limit on figures, tables, and references)
Clinical Images:
- Word limit: 250-750 words (No limit on figures, tables, and references)
Editorials:
- Word limit: 900-1300 words (No limit on figures, tables, and references)
Letter to the Editors:
- Word limit: 300-500 words (No limit on figures, tables, and references)
Additional Notes:
Plagiarism and Duplication:
Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Ensure that all material is original and properly cited. Manuscripts are scanned for plagiarism, and any detected will be addressed immediately. Ensure proper attribution for any material borrowed from other works.Article Processing Charges (APCs):
The APC for Mega Journal of Surgery ranges from 2650 to 4050 USD depending on the type of article, availability of funding, and the income status of the author’s country. This fee covers the publication process, including peer review, formatting, and online dissemination. Once the article is accepted, the APC is due. The fee is non-refundable.Manuscript Withdrawal Charges:
If an author requests withdrawal of a manuscript after it has been assigned for review or published, a withdrawal penalty may apply. This cost is specified by the editorial office.Refund Policy:

Formatting Guidelines for Manuscripts:
- Manuscripts should be submitted in document or PDF format.
- All manuscripts must follow the general structure outlined above.
- The manuscript should be formatted using a readable font (e.g., Times New Roman, size 12) and double-spaced for text.
- Margins should be set to 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
Submission Process:
